Monday, June 3, 2013

It's Monday, June 3, 2013. My girl is gone off visiting my Mom and I think both of them are having a good time together.  They went to Branson this past weekend and other than a  few phone calls wanting me to approve of her minor purchases, I rarely heard from her.  It has always been a dream of hers to spend time at my Mom's without her brother, Samuel.

This morning, Samuel has a friend over and I got up and made them a hearty breakfast of canned cinnamon rolls and bacon. Rookie the rooster and his two biddy's weren't let out of their cage so I let them out, fed them and fed Freckles the rabbit.  I also sent Addie, our pup out.  It's a beautiful day, the sun is shining and I have little to do, or little that I want to do. That is good.

This past spring, I spent a lot of my time running kids back and forth to school, keeping house and home, pet duties, and completing a few classes at our local technical school. This summer we have a lot planned.  One of the things that I really want to accomplish is tearing wallpaper off of Madison's room and repainting so it looks like a typical teenagers room instead of a baby girls room.

As I meandered about this morning I couldn't help but grab my camera and take a few shots of Mitten, our kitten. She is so lovable in the mornings and as the day wears on, that it all goes down hill. She hasn't taken to the newest member of our family, Addy.Yep, they chase each other but when Mitten she begins to feel threatened she starts slapping Addy. Addy then backs off.

I've had a few great photo opportunities here lately and I'll share this one really quick.

This is little chunks name is Winston. I met up with him and his mother in Maumelle at a beautiful home overlooking the river.Little tots like this can't be contained so I just let him go have fun and shot a bunch of good stuff. I had such a blast watching him through my camera. Now, enjoy these yourself.
